What We're About

Mental Health:

Mental health is fast becoming one of the nation's biggest burdens of disease with 1 in 5 of us expected to have/had a mental disorder in our lifetime.We aim raise awareness and support for the serious issue of mental illness that is so prevalent in not only medical students and practitioners but also the general society. We aim to provide facts on what mental illness is and help remove the stigmas associated, as well as be of resource to help those in need or those seeking ways to help others.

Health and Nutrition:

If you’re anything like us, the best part of your day is often coming home to dinner! We love cooking and we love eating! And while cheese toasties and Mi Goreng are delicious once in a while, they’re definitely only sometimes foods! This blog is here to inspire all you fellow students on what to cook and how to cook it without breaking the bank. We don’t intend for this to be a #cleaneating blog or updates on the latest Paleo diet trends, but rather a blog for recipes that are healthy and nutritious, without taking three hours out of your day (thanks Jamie Oliver). All recipes are trialled and tested by us for deliciousness and cooking time, so you don’t have to go through the rigmarole of scrolling through taste.com!

Fitness

In our current busy lifestyles its not uncommon for us to take our health and fitness for granted, and we understand its tough fitting in the daily 30 minutes of exercise recommended. However, with the fun, short, simple exercise techniques or routines we have found, its much easier to get the most out of your workout for the relatively little effort put in.
